To select Resident and Attending event attendees click on the appropriate button at the end of the attendance event form after you have completed the two required fields.

This screen determines who is to attend the event and is used to track attendance (Attended, Excused, etc.). You can filter the list of attendees by PGY using the PGY dropdown above the grid. For Attending selection, the list will default to your Program Attending's but you will have the ability to Show All.
Require All
The Require All button will select 'Required' for every name on the list or on a PGY filtered list (for Residents). Checking off the box in the Required column means that this person will show up on the Attendance Roster report (currently available through Residency Partner™ only, please see that Help file for more information) to be printed on the day of the event to help track attendance. Having the Required field checked will also include the attendance of this event in each required person's attendance percentage.
The Clear All button will remove all check marks from the Required column.
All Attend
If everyone on your list attended the current event, you can click the All Attend button. If only some people were selected to attend an event, you will have to manually check each attendee.
The Clear All button will remove all check marks from the Attended column.
Excused Absence
If a Resident or Attending cannot attend a required event, the box in the Excused column can be checked and a reason can be defined.
Unexcused Absence
If a Resident or Attending does not attend a required event and does not get excused from the event, this is considered an Unexcused Absence. The Required column must be checked for an individual to determine whether the attendee is unexcused or not. By not selecting Attended or Excused for a Resident or Attending after the date of the event, that person is considered unexcused and those absences will be calculated into the attendance percentages.
