Search for Outstanding Evaluations

Email notifications can be sent as reminders to those evaluators who have outstanding evaluations. You can search for an individual attending or resident's outstanding evaluations, or you can select from all of your evaluators. If you intend to use this feature, make sure email addresses are entered for each resident and attending in their record.

To send an Email notification of outstanding evaluations to an individual:

  1. Select either Residents or Attendings under Send Individual Notification.
  2. Select the name of the evaluator from the list.
  3. Click Send Email Notice for Outstanding Evals.

To send Email notifications to multiple evaluators about outstanding evaluations:

  1. Click Search for Outstanding Evals.
  2. Make sure the Starting Date and the Ending Date are the correct scope to search. If you change the dates, click Refresh List. The names, PGY, Email and number of outstanding evaluations of the attendings and residents will be displayed.
  3. Select the residents and attendings that you want to send the Email notifications to.
  4. If needed, edit the subject or message of the email.
  5. Click Email.

There are a several ways you can verify that evaluations were generated but have not been completed. You can view a list of generated evaluations on the View/Print Evaluations tab of the evaluations immediately after you generate them. You can also run the Generated Evaluations reports to see evaluations you have generated or the Outstanding Evaluation reports.
