Knowing where everyone is, where they have been, and where they are going is invaluable information to program coordinators. Using Residency Partner's scheduling capabilities makes it possible to build a comprehensive schedule, then view it from several different perspectives.
From the Resident's Perspective
A resident can log in to RP.NET and view their scheduled duty hours or enter duty hours they have worked. They can see their rotations. Any events they need to attend will be shown on their calendar. They can view details about the percentage of required events like grand rounds or conferences they have attended.
When a resident completes the program, detailed reports of the rotations they completed, the events they attended, and the duty hours they worked can be generated using Residency Partner.
From the Attending's Perspective
Attendings can log in to RP.NET and see the events that have been scheduled to attend.
Reports can be generated for attendings about attendance, rotations, schedules, and duty hours.
From the Coordinator's Perspective
Because the Schedule Rotations window can show you both a resident's schedule, and all the residents assigned to a particular rotation, it is easy to fill rotation slots. There are many options for generating reports about schedules.
Conferences, Grand Rounds, Morning Reports - any event that can be entered into the scheduled Attendance can be tracked and reports about attendance can be created. Coordinators even have the ability to invite attendings to events and track their attendance.
